Lisbon Is Calling!
Here Is What a Real Scouting Day Looks Like for Black Families.
Lisbon keeps showing up in my conversations with expat and digital nomad families - especially those feeling the pull toward life beyond the U.S. And honestly, I understand why.
This week I am pulling back the curtain on what a realistic scouting day in Lisbon actually looks like for Black expat and remote-working families. We are talking central family suites with kids’ clubs, navigating the city by tram with little ones in tow, riverfront squares that become your new normal, a full day out at the Oceanarium, and rooftop sunsets once the kids wind down for the night.
My goal goes beyond inspiration. I want you to picture the actual logistics of everyday life - where you stay on a first scouting trip, how your family moves through the city, and how you weave in work while you explore and assess. I also personally book scouting trip travel, so when you are ready to go experience Lisbon for yourself, I handle the logistics from flights to family-friendly accommodations.
If Lisbon sits on your maybe list, I put together a simple checklist and day-plan at the end of this issue that you can save and use for your own scouting trip.
Let us get into it. 🌍✈️
